Course Overview

Cryptocurrency and virtual assets (VA) have become prominent in global financial markets and Hong Kong is no exception.
In this workshop, we will provide an overview of the present regulatory developments in relation to VA in Hong Kong. In
particular, we will examine in detail the new SFC dual-licensing regime, which came into effect in 2023. We will also be
covering other relevant and applicable regulatory requirements provided by HKMA, C&ED and IRD to name a few. Last but
not least, we will be covering some current topics in the VA space.
