How can I perform a job search?
You have two ways to do this -- either by Quick
Search or by Advanced
Search. To use Quick Search, enter the keyword(s)
in the Quick Search box, and press Submit. For an Advanced
Search, choose the desired industry, job function, work
experience, education, career level and any keywords
that best describe your desired job. Scroll down and
press Submit to begin the search.

What are keywords?
Keywords are specific words or phrases that, when
entered into a search field, help conduct a search for
suitable jobs. The choice of a keyword is important
to get an accurate search. For best results, use keywords,
which are likely to appear in job advertisements such
as specific titles, functions, skills and responsibilities.
You may also use the Career Times search code (e.g.
CT: 6012345-01#01) or a company name as a keyword.

How do I save a job advertisement for
later use?
Registered users can save their favourite jobs by
simply clicking on ADD TO Jobs Saved below each job
ad. You can save a total of 20 jobs and refer to them
later by clicking on Jobs Saved under myJobListings.

How long do you keep jobs listed in your
database?
At careertimes.com.hk, job listings are generally
kept for four weeks, unless the job listing from the
advertiser has expired.

Will you email me suitable job listings?
Yes, when you have subscribed to our free Job Alert
service. Every time we find a match between your job
profile and an advertised job, we will email you a Job
Alert. To subscribe, go to myJobListings under myCareerTimes,
and select Edit Settings. Scroll down to the Subscription
to Job Alerts section, choose Yes and click Save to
enable service. You can also check the Jobs Matched
results in myJobListings. To increase your chances of
finding the right job, we highly recommend you to subscribe
to Candidate
Match.
