1. If I have already registered, how can I change my email address and other Account Info?
Login and go to mySettings under myCareerTimes; then click on Account Info (in the blue band). You can change all the information you previously provided, except for the login User Name.

We advise you to change your password from time to time to safeguard all your personal information.

2. How can I unsubscribe from the e-Newsletter?
Login and go to mySettings under myCareerTimes; then click on Account Info, scroll down to the bottom of the page, uncheck the box next to Subscribe to e-Newsletter and click Save.

3. What is Job Alert?
Job Alert is a free service that alerts you of job listings that match your job profile. When we find a match, we will email the job listing to you.

To subscribe to Job Alert, go to mySettings under myCareerTimes, and select Job Alert (in the blue band). Scroll down the page until Subscription to Job Alerts. To subscribe, select Yes and click Save. You can check the Jobs Matched results in myJobListings.

4. How can I unsubscribe from the Job Alert service?
To unsubscribe from the Job Alert service, log in and go to mySettings under myCareerTimes, and select Job Alert (in the blue band) and scroll down to Subscription to Job Alerts. Choose No and click Save.

5. What is Candidate Match?
Candidate Match is a free service, which matches your Online Resume with suitable jobs, and sends your online resume to potential employers for their consideration. Before sending your online resume, we will ask your permission to disclose it each time.

6. In Candidate Match, what information will be disclosed and to whom, if I choose to "Yes, please disclose my online resume to careertimes.com.hk's recruiters only after getting my permission each time"?
Through our free Candidate Match service, a prospective employer may want to view your online resume. Each time before we disclose your Online Resume, we will ask for your permission first.

7. How do I save a resume?
You have two options to save a resume: either create an online resume or upload one from your own files. You can do both under myResume after logging in at myCareerTimes. To create an online resume, fill in the Online Resume form, then preview and save it. To upload a resume from your own files; browse the file; name the resume and then upload. No online preview for uploaded resumes is available. You can upload three resumes.

8. How do I edit or delete my resume?
Go to myResume. To edit an online resume, click on Online Resume and edit information in the form provided. To update your uploaded resume, click on Resume 1, 2 or 3, and replace the outdated one with a new file from your own files. To delete resume, click on the corresponding box under Delete Resume.

9. Can other people access my resume apart from the companies I sent applications to?
No, only companies with your permission can have access to your resume. In Candidate Match, we will ask your permission first before disclosing it to any prospective employers.

10. How can I apply for jobs online through careertimes.com.hk?
We provide an easy and direct way to apply for jobs via the Internet. You have two options - APPLY NOW with Cover Letter and APPLY NOW without Cover Letter. You will find the relevant button below the job ad.

In the case of APPLY NOW with Cover Letter, write or paste your application letter in the space provided, and then click on Send to the employer. In the case of APPLY NOW without Cover Letter, just click Yes to confirm sending out your resume.

11. Can I apply for jobs without writing a cover letter?
You can use the APPLY NOW without Cover Letter option and your resume will be sent out with our default cover page. However, employers prefer job applications with tailor-made cover letters. For tips on how to write a cover letter, please go to Cover Letters & CV under Career Centre
